The software development and software quality teams work closely to design, develop and deliver high quality products that conform with customer requirements, required standards, and regulations. This role will see you joining this collective team, participate in the software product development lifecycle, and contribute to the high product standards that we uphold. This role will involve the hands-on development and testing of the Atomic Spectroscopy software product line, ICP-OES The role will be working with the Marketing, Software Development, Software Quality engineers to ensure the requirements are implemented correctly and meet Agilent’s Quality standards and metrics. The successful candidate requires in-depth knowledge and experience in software test, instrumentation and associated software. Other attributes of the successful candidate would include - strong communication skills and attention to detail; a systematic/analytical approach to assigned tasks and problems; and the ability to work independently and proactively develop project direction as data is collected and results obtained. Qualifications A Bachelors or Master’s degree or University Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a Life Sciences related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience with specifically ICP-OES, MP-AES, AA spectrometers is strongly preferred. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule.
