KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, TypeScript).
  • Proficiency in UI and API test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, UFT, Postman).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab) and automation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate in team environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Behaviour Driven Development tools (e.g. SpecFlow, Cucumber, Visual Studio).
  • ISTQB Foundation certification and knowledge of financial services (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Software Quality Engineer at ART, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust automated testing solutions that ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. You’ll work across multiple projects within a squad to support the delivery of high-quality features to our members. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, continuous improvement, and collaborative development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts across the testing pyramid.
  • Execute automated and manual tests for new features and regression testing.
  • Investigate and resolve defects, implementing corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Maintain defect records and suggest improvements to defect management processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor Graduate Software Quality Engineers.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support quality engineering practices.
  • Document test solutions, including framework design and automation coverage.
  • Capture and report test automation metrics and ensure traceability to requirements.
    This role is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.
