See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: The Software Quality Tester is responsible for performing comprehensive testing of software applications to ensure they meet specified requirements and maintain quality standards. This role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, as well as identifying and documenting defects. The Software Quality Tester II works closely with developers, senior testers, and project teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions. At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: Develop, execute, and maintain test cases. Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies. Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing as required. Participate in code reviews and provide input on testing practices. Assist in developing test plans and contribute to quality assurance documentation. Conduct root cause analysis on defects and collaborate to resolve issues. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience with automated testing tools 2-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing. Analytical thinking with high attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Basic programming or scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, etc.) Exposure to test automation tools and practices Understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software integratio ISTQB certification or similar is a plus Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with opportunities for remote work.
