Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Release Manager is responsible for the successful planning and delivery of Finxact Platform versions, which is comprised of multiple independent services maintained by the Core and Architecture Engineering teams.

  • Release Planning:
  • Lead and refine the software delivery release planning process.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and report on scope, track and communicate release status, and help remove impediments to delivery.
  • Delivery Support
  • Guide and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including grooming sessions, Backlog Refinement, Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, fostering collaboration and communication across the teams.
  • Oversee the use of Scrum tools and artifacts, such as boards and charts, to visualize work, track progress, and enhance team collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product, and Integrations to ensure a cohesive release process.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, facilitating regular retrospectives to identify opportunities for enhancement in the release process.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and manage risks associated with release tasks, working with the team to develop strategies for mitigating potential issues and ensuring the delivery of release features.

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
