We are looking for a Software Security Test Automation Specialist / Consultant, to join our Department of Software Testing, South Finland. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the security and reliability of our customer’s products! We offer a great possibility to develop and widen your skills and competencies as a member of our experienced team and larger SW testing organization.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in the Capital Region. You need to be willing to commute to your first Customer site at Hyvinkää, around 2-3 days per week – the work will be done in a hybrid model.

Your main responsibilities

• Plan and execute security test automation, especially for industrial automation products
• Maintain and build up security test automation environment
• Perform manual testing when automation is not available
• Analyze regression testing results and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges.

Your skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience in security testing, ideally within industrial automation or control systems, with practical experience on devices, setups, and measurement equipment.
• A consultative approach, proactively seeking solutions and adding value for Etteplan’s demanding clients across various domains.
• In-depth understanding of IEC62443 standards and their implementation in industrial settings.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, along with automation tools like Robot Framework.
• Skilled in using vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.

Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as fluent spoken and written English skills are needed in this role.

We appreciate flexibility to travel within the Capital Region and/or Hyvinkää area, depending on customer locations and preferences. While not mandatory, proficiency in Finnish is beneficial for various customer projects and team interactions.
