Description

Software Specialist Co-Op Program (8-Month Term Minimum)
We’re excited to offer a Co-Op opportunity for a Software Specialist to join our team!
If you’re passionate about building reliable systems, improving automation, and making technology work smarter — this could be the role for you.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values clean code, practical solutions, and learning by doing. This role offers real hands-on experience across development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and testing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and maintaining automated test suites for core business applications
  • Improving our CI/CD pipelines and workflows alongside experienced developers
  • Supporting infrastructure, deployments, and system maintenance using Docker, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Writing clean, maintainable Python code for features, testing scripts, and internal automation tools
  • Helping shape DevOps best practices as we continue to grow
  • (Optional) Assisting with JavaScript-based front-end services and minor feature enhancements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong foundation in Python (this is a must!)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Experience working with databases and ORMs (PostgreSQL knowledge is a bonus)
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and Linux environments
  • Awareness of cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure
  • A proactive mindset when it comes to testing, debugging, and infrastructure support

Bonus Skills (The Nice to Haves):

  • Exposure to ERP systems or workflows (e.g., manufacturing, accounting, sales)
  • Experience with JavaScript and/or React frameworks

Why This Program Stands Out:

  • Real Projects: You’ll work on meaningful initiatives, not just “intern tasks.”
  • Collaborative Team: Good ideas are welcomed from everyone, no matter your title.
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to explore deeper paths in software automation, DevOps, or full-stack development based on your interests.
  • Mentorship & Learning: You’ll work closely with a small, tight-knit engineering and product team.
  • Modern Tech Stack: Exposure to current industry technologies like Python APIs, Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, and Elixir (Phoenix Framework).

Our Tech Stack:

  • ERP Systems
  • Python (ORM API Development)
  • JavaScript (React Framework)
  • XML/QWEB/Jinja Templates
  • Elixir (Phoenix Framework)
  • Infrastructure: Docker, AWS
