Propersys Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of various programming languages and technologies, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Software Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing our software solutions and ensuring high-quality performance. Propersys Corporation serves the constantly innovating semiconductor industry with high precision equipment, systems, and services. Delivering professional facility turnkey projects and system engineering services to the semiconductor fabrication industry are the company’s specialties. We are rapidly expanding and are looking for talented members to join our team.
As a Software Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our ERP legacy system (built with ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server). You will resolve user tickets, troubleshoot and fix bugs, apply software updates, and ensure smooth system operation across departments. This role includes periodic travel to Santa Clara, CA (up to one week per month) through June 2026, with no travel requirements beyond that date.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in software support, maintenance, development roles.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with end users and technical teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ERP systems and legacy application maintenance.
  • Knowledge of SQL query optimization and database administration.
  • Exposure to software version control and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP environments and ability to support or troubleshoot SAP-related issues
  • Basic understanding of IT policies, security, and compliance considerations.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve ERP workflows.
  • Assist in troubleshooting database-related issues, optimizing queries, and maintaining SQL Server integrity.
