DESCRIPTION

Join JT as a Software Product Technical Design Authority, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic and technical design of our Telecom and IT services. You’ll be responsible for leading the software detailed design, configuration and/or development change specifications of new and existing products across our business and operational support systems (B/OSS), with a particular focus on billing, fulfilment, assurance, and inventory.
In this role, you’ll take technical ownership of B/OSS software product design and guide the breakdown and allocation of development tasks within Agile delivery teams. Your expertise will help drive innovation and ensure seamless integration across our systems.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Significant Software Product development and configuration experience across telco B/OSS solutions
  • Logical design experience across multiple different B/OSS applications
  • Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe) and toolsets
  • Solid knowledge and experience of B/OSS applications suitable for a high-growth telecoms business, or similar
  • Microsoft toolset experience for day to day corporate use

Responsibilities
  1. Act as the technical design authority for JT’s software product catalogue.
  2. Lead the design and development of product solutions within B/OSS systems.
  3. Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders to shape product features and architecture.
  4. Design product content aligned with billing, fulfilment, assurance applications and financial systems.
  5. Define and document end-to-end fulfilment technical processes.
  6. Set service assurance standards, including SLAs and troubleshooting guidelines.
  7. Manage integration of accurate inventory data across all resources.
  8. Foster strong relationships to support continuous improvement and delivery quality.
  9. Ensure the software catalogue is technically usable and customer-friendly.
  10. Own task estimation and prioritisation to enable timely delivery.
