• Review loan origination requirements, workflows, and business rules including customer eligibility, credit scoring (perform by different team), document verification, and disbursement criteria.
• Analyze loan origination workflows and identify key areas for automation, including application submission, credit evaluation, approval workflows, document verification, and repayment tracking.
• Design detailed test cases and scenarios covering all stages of the loan lifecycle: application submission, risk assessment, approval, disbursement, repayment tracking, and growth analytics.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, or Tosca relevant frameworks tailored to the loan origination system. Create reusable and modular test components to improve maintainability.
• Document and communicate test cases, scripts and seek approval from project stakeholders on the test scope.
• Prepare test data that simulates various loan applicant profiles, credit scores (to support data when the need arise), loan types, and repayment schedules.
• Integrate automated tests into e2e scenarios flow to enable frequent and reliable regression testing of loan origination features.
• Execute manual tests to validate loan processing accuracy, workflow integrity, and user interface functionality.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to detect issues in loan calculations, workflow transitions, and third-party integrations.
• Log and track defects related to loan calculations, approval workflows, document handling, and integration points such as credit bureaus or payment systems.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to clarify ambiguous requirements and ensure compliance with lending regulations.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and update automation scripts/test cases based on evolving loan product features.
• Maintain test data sets that reflect diverse loan scenarios, including different loan products, customer profiles, and repayment plans in the entity-in-test.
