Your tasks

  • Quality in focus : As a valued member of our agile Border Gears QA team, you will develop well-thought-out test cases based on requirements and specifications.
  • Practice meets precision: Together with the team, you will conduct manual and automated tests in the exciting environment of official border control checks.
  • Driving automation forward: You will further expand our test automation and ensure that automated processes run smoothly.
  • Safe release: You take responsibility for comprehensive release tests and ensure that our solutions can be delivered reliably and securely.
  • Anchoring quality within the team: In agile collaboration, you are one of the voices of quality assurance and establish a strong "quality mindset" among all participants.
  • Further develop strategies: In the quality management team, you will actively shape the future of our testing strategies.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or many years of experience in software testing.
  • With creativity and analytical acumen, you develop efficient, practical test scenarios.
  • Self-initiative is your driving force – you enjoy getting to the bottom of new systems and concepts and specifically identifying weaknesses.
  • Are you familiar with agile tools and processes such as TestRail, Jira, or Confluence?
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Ranorex and proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell or Python) are desirable.
  • Complex systems don't scare you – on the contrary, you enjoy tackling the challenges of security-relevant areas.
  • You communicate complex issues confidently in German and English.
  • Certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • And most importantly: You enjoy working with a dedicated team to thoroughly test our systems.
