ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Technical Expertise:
Strong, demonstrable understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, automation and tools.
Analytical skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve defects.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail:
High level of attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance.
Collaboration:
Experience in working closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing.
Capabilities/ skills we look for:

Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automated and manual testing.
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Programming Languages: Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar for automated testing.
• Software testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are highly desirable. • Experience with development tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices.

Should have:

• Knowledge and interest in the evolution and transformation of the legal industry.
• Knowledge and interest in data science and analytics.
• Ability to absorb large amounts of information and create sense and simplicity.

• Confidence and fluency in the language and tools of agile, lean and designExperience in real-life deployment of GenAI solutions to users and clients.

• Could have:
  Experience in a technology innovation role at an international law firm or a similarly regulated industry.
  Won’t have:
  An aversion to getting hands dirty and training up others in your discipline!

We are seeking a talented Software Test Engineer to join our small development team and support the development of solutions within Microsoft Azure. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to:

Test strategy development:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies to ensure the quality and performance for software solutions, including APIs, integrations and those created in low code tools such as Microsoft Power Platform

Automated testing:

• Create and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency as well as increase test coverage.

Manual testing:

• Perform manual testing to identify and resolve defects in software applications; and identify opportunities for automation where possible

Test planning:

• Create, document and execute test plans, including test objectives, scope and criteria

Bug reporting and quality assurance:

• Identify, prioritise, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Ensure that software solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
