Responsibilities

As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our autonomous technology. You’ll be responsible for the validation and verification of autonomous vehicle actuators, systems, and features. This includes designing, writing, and executing test scripts in both Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and real-world vehicle test environments, as well as continuously developing innovative test methods and enhancing our existing automation framework to elevate the quality and scalability of our testing processes.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute Python-based test scripts for validation of our autonomous vehicle software and hardware.
  • Design and implement comprehensive software unit tests to ensure the reliability and robustness of new features and tools.
  • Architect and deploy advanced automation solutions that improve the efficiency and accuracy of our testing and analysis workflows.
  • Innovate and build test tools that expand the capabilities of the Autonomous Vehicle testing team.
  • Uphold high code quality standards through code reviews and the consistent application and enforcement of industry best practices.
