Description

Software Test Engineer – Because Quality Matters
Do you have a passion for quality and software testing? Contribute to our development of high-performance digital solutions in a company where we strive to be the best and never compromise. Join our digital journey in CeramicSpeed Digital.
At CeramicSpeed Digital, we are on a mission to bring our world-class mechanical products into the digital age. From high-performance cycling components to cutting-edge industrial condition monitoring, we are building smart, connected solutions that redefine precision and reliability. As a newly launched digital venture, we are on an exciting journey — building a full-scale digital innovation hub.
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who is passionate about quality and driven to design and build robust testing systems that ensure our software meets the same high standards as our physical products. If you thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment where innovation meets craftsmanship, this is your chance to make a real impact.

WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for a candidate with a relevant educational background in computer science, software development, or a related field, and with proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Developer.
You are detail-oriented and quality-conscious – good at focusing on the small things, down to the last comma, and yet pragmatic, capable of assessing the situation and proposing solutions that match the challenge. You are a finisher who takes pride in seeing tasks and projects through to completion, ensuring nothing is left half-done.

You should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies and automation frameworks, along with:

  • Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#)
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React, is a plus.
Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

You will join a dynamic team of six colleagues working across the full tech stack — from embedded hardware to front-end applications. In this role you will be responsible for implementing test systems and quality procedures. Further analyze results and recommend improvements.
Depending on your skills and interests, you may also contribute to develop backend features or actively participating in sprint planning and code reviews - helping us deliver high-quality software that supports our digital transformation.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and maintain a comprehensive testing approach including unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests.
  • Promote best practices across the development lifecycle.
  • Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD flow (Azure DevOps).
  • Ensure coverage of critical functionality and edge cases.
  • Identify key visual and usability aspects of our React-based front-end mobile app.
  • Implement automated visual regression testing tools.
  • Define and execute manual test scenarios for complex user interactions and edge cases.
  • Design and run performance tests to validate scalability and responsiveness.
  • Review code for adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback to developers to improve code quality.
