WHY WE HAVE THIS ROLE

Are you a meticulous and technically savvy individual with a passion for ensuring the highest quality in financial systems? We’re looking for a Finance Systems Software Test Engineer (STE) to join our team. You’ll play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the reliability and accuracy of our critical finance tech stack, which directly impacts our company’s revenue and strategic decision-making.
Our Finance Systems team manages a robust and interconnected tech stack, including NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Zuora, and other essential tools. As a Finance Systems Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Your primary goal will be to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our finance system solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and support our business objectives.

THINGS YOU’LL DO

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Execute manual and automated test scripts, meticulously documenting test results and any defects found.
  • Identify, track, and manage defects using appropriate defect tracking tools, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to provide feedback on testability and potential quality risks.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of test data and test environments.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by providing support and guidance to end-users.
