Assignment descriptionWe are looking for an experienced QA Engineer for an organization in Groningen. Within this role you ensure that new functionalities, improvements and changes meet the desired quality standards. You work closely with developers and other stakeholders and combine manual testing with test automation.

• What are you going to do?As a QA Engineer you are responsible for testing and monitoring the quality of both new and existing functionalities. You critically examine the operation of the software, draw up clear test scenarios and ensure that findings are recorded in a reproducible and transparent manner.Your duties include:Manual and automated testing of new and existing functionalities;
• Drawing up and executing clear, reproducible test scenarios;
• Identifying, analyzing and documenting bugs and quality problems;
• Check whether improvements and changes have been implemented correctly;
• Thinking about test approach, quality processes and further professionalization of QA;
• Expand and maintain automated tests;
• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders within the organization.

• What are you bringing?Experience with software testing within, for example, a web or other digital environment;
• Good knowledge of manual testing;
• Experience with or clear interest in test automation;
• Experience with Playwright or a similar test automation framework is a strong advantage;
• Experience in drawing up reproducible test scenarios and carefully documenting findings;
• Basic knowledge of Git and branching models;
• A critical, accurate and quality-oriented way of working;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers and other stakeholders.
