Responsibilities

• Analyse product requirements and identify testable behaviours and risks• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and exploratory tests• Prepare reusable test data, test cases, and execution notes• Report defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and evidence• Verify fixes and assess related areas for regression risk• Test APIs and web workflows across supported environments• Collaborate with developers to investigate failures and improve testability• Add or maintain basic automated tests and quality checks in delivery workflowsQualification

Required

• Understanding of software development and testing fundamentals• Basic programming or scripting knowledge• Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and attention to detail• Ability to write clear technical notes and defect reports• Ability to learn tools quickly and collaborate in a remote engineering team• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment in Canada

Preferred

• Exposure to Python, JavaScript, Java, or a similar language• Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or API testing• Coursework, projects, or internships involving CI/CD and automated testing
