About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst to join a leading banking organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing software testing activities while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of banking applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Lead software testing activities throughout the SDLC and Agile lifecycle.
• Identify, prioritize, track, and manage software defects through resolution.
• Design and implement automated testing solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Manage and administer Atlassian Jira Defect Tracking System.
• Mentor junior QA team members and support testing best practices.
• Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years of Software Testing / QA experience.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Administration.
• Experience in Test Automation using Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
• ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent Testing Certification.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Digital Banking systems and processes.
