JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer/ Quality Assurance Analyst to support software development projects for Federal Clients. The Test Engineer must have hands-on experience developing and executing manual and automated tests for software applications with a user interface, or web applications in particular.

REQUIREMENTS:

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• This position is onsite 5/days a week in Alexandria VA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 7 years of experience in manual and automated testing of IT software systems or 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, with a preference for Playwright.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments is preferred

• Team Lead - Supervises team of Systems Engineers in execution of tasks.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of software products.
• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify and report defects.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Develop data validation procedures and test plans customized for each functional team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
