The Role
You will report to the team manager and exercise your knowledge and experience with your colleagues. You will conduct tests, analyse the results, and report observations on sophisticated software products that provide the human interface into the control of industrial automation devices. You may also interact with clients to understand the requirements of the product. The Person
You will be self-motivated, energetic, and upbeat, take a logical and systematic approach to problem solving and at ease working in an agile environment. A perfectionist who strives for timely completion of projects and can prioritise the urgency of multiple requests and then take charge of these to meet deadlines. You should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven environment, design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.

Essential Criteria

  • 1-2 years’ experience working as Software Test Engineer with proven software test responsibilities.
  • Good automation skills e.g. Selenium, python.
  • Knowledge of Java/ JavaScript.
  • Thorough understanding of the testing process and principles.
  • Knowledge of networking.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Platforms e.g. AWS.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/Diploma in computer science or IT/Software Development/Engineering related field.
  • ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing desirable.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner desirable.
