We are seeking a Software Test Manager (m/f/d) for an established industrial company in Erlangen, on a temporary basis with the possibility of permanent placement. Your tasks

• Planning, conception, coordination and control of testing activities within the framework of software development
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation in English
• Selection, evaluation and adaptation of suitable test methods and test tools
• Coordination of test specifications, test automation and test execution
• Development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring testing activities and ensuring software quality
• Support for operational testing activities in the development process
• Conducting software tests at component and system level

This is what you bring with you

• Completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in software testing or as a software test designer
• Good knowledge of C, C++ and Python
• Solid knowledge of software testing methods and testing processes
• Experience with static code analysis
• Safe handling of Linux and the GNU toolchain (GCC, LD, GNU Make)
• Knowledge in the areas of signal processing and hardware
• ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level desirable
• English language skills at least at level B1
• Experience in the professional coordination and management of testing activities
