Description

SOFTWARE TESTER – BE THE GUARDIAN OF QUALITY IN HEALTHCARE SOFTWARE

Are you a recent graduate or have a few years of experience? Do you enjoy working independently, taking responsibility for decisions, and influencing the direction of your work? Do you want to be an essential part of a dedicated development team? Then we have the job for you!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a talented and motivated newly graduated Software Tester to join our team. You must have a relevant university degree, and while an ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Test Analyst certificate is a plus, it is not a requirement. Fluency in both Danish and English is essential as we work with national and international colleagues and customers.
We use tools such as Testrail, R4J, Jira, SQL, and Postman - prior experience with these tools is an advantage, but not a necessity as we will provide you with the opportunity to learn them on the job.

In addition, we are looking for a colleague who:

  • Communicates proactively and takes initiative to enhance test processes and quality.
  • Demonstrates precision and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed thoroughly and on time.
  • Approaches work in a structured manner with a strong drive for continuous improvement.

If you are looking to kickstart your career and grow within a supportive and dynamic team, we hope to hear from you!
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.

Responsibilities

At Systematic, software testers are integral members of the team and the development process. As a Test Engineer, you will engage in early testing during feature development and collaborate closely with your team, other software testers, and stakeholders across the cura product. All tasks require an inspect-and-adapt mindset to continuously learn and improve as we progress.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of new features by managing testing from requirements through to development and final system testing (FAT) before feature release.
  • Planning and overseeing the complete testing process for the team’s commitments, ensuring alignment and understanding across all members.
  • Designing and strategizing early testing approaches, including risk assessments, test environment needs, and a clear understanding of feature requirements.
  • Performing system tests for both major releases and patch updates to ensure consistent quality.
  • Executing tests for new features and defect fixes according to the established test strategy.
  • Developing component test designs, data, and test cases to ensure comprehensive and effective testing coverage.
