JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team at iVEGA. The Software Tester will be responsible for evaluating software applications and ensuring they meet the quality standards required by the company. You will perform various types of testing to identify, log, and track bugs, as well as provide input on improving software quality.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
  • Familiarity with different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance).
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies (Agile or Waterfall).
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

    Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, issues, and defects.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure understanding of software requirements.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and load testing on software applications.
  • Report defects and work closely with developers to ensure fixes are implemented.
  • Retest resolved issues and validate software updates.
  • Document test results and provide detailed reports on software performance and quality.
  • Ensure that software meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Continuously update testing strategies to align with project goals and timelines.
