They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale the platforms, services, and tooling that enable AI teams to train, benchmark, and deploy next-generation models.
📍Onsite first - central Munich office💰 Up to €130,000
🔥 What You'll Be Doing✅ Building and operating backend services that support AI model training and evaluation✅ Developing software that powers a fleet of autonomous data collection systems✅ Creating tools to manage and monitor 100+ distributed stations✅ Owning systems end-to-end from architecture and development through to deployment and production operations✅ Working closely with AI/ML engineers and cross-functional teams to solve complex real-world challenges✅ Improving scalability, reliability, observability, and developer experience as systems grow
🛠 Technology Stack• Python• FastAPI• PostgreSQL• Docker• Kubernetes• GitLab CI/CD• REST APIs• Bazel• TypeScript / React• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
✅ What They're Looking For• 5+ years of experience building and operating production web services• Strong Python development experience• Solid understanding of SQL databases• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset• Someone comfortable working across multiple systems and solving ambiguous technical challenges
⭐ Nice-to-Have Experience• React / TypeScript• FastAPI• GCP• CI/CD pipeline development• Distributed systems & microservices• Messaging systems / event-driven architectures• Terraform, Ansible or other Infrastructure as Code tools
