ABOUT THE JOB

An exciting opportunity to join our team as a software tester. You will be working alongside developers, designers and product owners to help create our much-loved software.
You will be responsible for the QA within your product group and testing throughout the software development lifecycle. From creating tests plans and helping with requirements at the start to UAT and integration testing at the end.
You will need a keen eye for detail and analytical mind as you work across various parts of our platform including web and mobile apps.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years working in QA as a manual tester or similar
  • Automation Experience (with Cypress or another JavaScript based platform is a big plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

THE ROLE AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with software developers and project support teams
  • Identify business requirements
  • Plan projects
  • Monitor applications and software systems
  • Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
  • Write and execute test scripts
  • Run manual and automated tests
  • Test in different environments including web and mobile
  • Write bug reports
  • Assess code
  • Carry out resource planning
  • Review documentation
  • Work towards departmental and project deadlines
  • Provide quality assurance
  • Provide objective feedback to software development project teams
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Design tests to mitigate risk
  • Present findings to software development and business user teams
  • Work on multiple projects at one time
  • Document analysis
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.
