We are seeking a Test Engineer for Embedded Software (m/f/d) for a direct placement with an internationally operating technology company in Ulm. You will develop and automate test solutions for sophisticated embedded systems and oversee their quality assurance throughout the entire development process. As a Test Engineer for Embedded Software (m/f/d), you will combine software expertise with systematic error analysis and modern test automation. This position is being filled through direct placement/recruitment.

Testingenieur Embedded Software (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• Planning and development of test strategies for complex embedded systems
• Setup and maintenance of hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop test environments
• Analysis and evaluation of error patterns and test deviations, as well as the creation of technical reports.
• Further development of automated test procedures and their integration into CI/CD processes
• Collaboration with DevOps, software architecture and development for continuous improvement of software quality

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Solid experience in testing low-level software with C/C++ as well as in handling laboratory equipment and bus systems
• Good knowledge of C/C++, Python, test frameworks and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with structured test strategies and automated test procedures
• Analytical and systematic working style, initiative and willingness to undergo a security clearance according to SÜG (Ü2)
