OVERVIEW:

We’re hiring a Software Tester with expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software applications. This role involves designing and executing test cases, maintaining automated test suites, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments. The ideal candidate will be ISTQB certified and have strong skills in defect detection, SQL-based validation, and quality assurance processes, with a working knowledge of Azure services for test data and environment setup.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (mandatory).
• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect life cycle, and QA best practices.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Basic knowledge of Azure services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Design, review, and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and Java, with integration into Jenkins pipelines.
• Conduct API testing using Postman, validating RESTful services for performance, accuracy, and data integrity.
• Write and run SQL queries for backend data validation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to ensure clear requirements and test coverage.
• Document test plans, test results, defect reports, and release notes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
