We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Tester to join our team, who will work on complex bespoke development projects, covering all aspects of the software testing cycle.
Role:
· Work as part of the software testing team, ensuring all software developed meets the customer requirements and is delivered within the timescale.
· Perform manual software testing, including functional, regression and usability.
· Advise software development team of bug issues and ensure resolution within agreed timescale, using in-house helpdesk.
· Create, document and implement test scripts to agreed scopes and objectives.
· Liaise with customers to clarify changes to project requirements.
· Review and manage customer calls to the helpdesk, ensuring all calls are being dealt with in the required timescale.
Person:
· Degree qualified.
· An understanding of software testing and methodologies, is desirable.
· Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, to work as part of a team and liaise with customers.
· Office 365 skills are essential.
· Have a flexible approach to work as the role covers all customer development projects.
· Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries would be advantageous.
Salary will be dependant on skills and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
