What are you going to do if Software testers?

As a Tester at the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN), you play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the applications we develop. You are part of the Agile development team that works on the National Facility of the BRO, where your expertise directly contributes to the better use of subsurface data. In addition, you help to take the testing process within the entire GDN organization to a higher level.

In this position you work closely with developers, product owners, (senior) testers and users. You develop and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure that new features work properly and existing systems remain stable. Thanks to your foresight, you know how to set up test strategies that not only guarantee current quality, but are also future-proof. With tools such as ReadyAPI, Playwright and Groovy you automate tests and provide valuable feedback with which the team continuously improves the software.

You are also someone who likes to help build better processes. You will work together with a Senior Tester and ensure implementation and quality. You play an active role in strengthening the quality culture within the team and within the GDN. Your commitment ensures that every release meets our high standards and that users can trust what we deliver.

As a tester you are part of the team that works on the National Facility of the BRO, the largest basic registration in the Netherlands. This facility ensures the collection of subsurface data by source holders and also the issuance of this data for BRO customers. As a team you are responsible for the further development of this facility and its daily maintenance.
