About the Role We’re seeking a Software UX Designer to join our Engineering team and help shape intuitive, engaging, and delightful experiences across our software platforms. You’ll work closely with the VP of Engineering, product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business goals into elegant, user-centered design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the UX design process for software features from discovery to delivery. Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to uncover insights and validate design decisions. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate interaction and design ideas. Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and refine requirements and user stories. Ensure design consistency across all products through style guides, pattern libraries, and design systems. Translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and productivity. Stay up to date on UX trends, accessibility standards, and emerging design technologies Advocate for the user’s voice throughout the product development lifecycle. Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3–5 years of UX design experience for software applications (web and/or mobile). Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design. Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design best practices. Experience collaborating within agile product teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing complex enterprise or data-heavy software applications. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for collaboration with developers. Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to inform design improvements. Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
