We are currently looking for a C++ software developer (m/f/d) for embedded Linux systems to strengthen our team at the Erlangen location for a new, exciting project in medical technology, remote full-time, permanent position starting immediately or by agreement.
Tasks
- You will work in an agile Scrum team and develop software components in the field of medical imaging based on embedded C++.
- You will participate with the team in tasks related to embedded system hardening.
- You are willing and able to familiarize yourself with existing code.
- You will contribute to design, implementation, documentation, unit and integration testing, modularization for tests, and test implementation (Linux support).
- Regular OS updates and processes round out your responsibilities: definition and regular technical implementation as well as assessment of findings, implementation plan.
qualification
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or another STEM field, or have comparable training.
- You have several years of experience and very good knowledge in development as well as testing & debugging with Embedded C++ under Windows (Visual Studio) and Linux.
- Knowledge of Linux real-time extensions and initial experience in cybersecurity are desirable.
- Experience with STIG lists (interpreting requirements) is advantageous.
- You are a team player and have very good German and good English skills.
