Description

PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling/cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Be on time * Have excellent attendance * Meet established production standards * Follow all company safety rules * Be able to work well with a diverse workforce * Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor * Follow all company policies and procedures * Possess and maintain a positive attitude * Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies * Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise * Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Cross-train on other routes per production needs JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day * Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen * Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting and pulling Comprehensive Medical Plan with Prescription Coverage | Dental Plan | Vision Plan | Life Insurance | 401K Program with Company Match | Paid Holidays | Paid Time Off Company Training Program | Tuition Reimbursement Program | Utilize Latest Technologies and Linen Methodologies | Casual Work Environment Sunday - Friday 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. (Possible 1 to 2 hours of OT)
