ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS Card (active and valid)
• Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous experience with solar ground mount systems preferred
• Willingness to work away from home, Monday to Friday, across the UK
• Good level of physical fitness — this is a hands-on role with manual lifting
• Comfortable working in rural and construction site environments
• Based in the Midlands region (for ease of joining our existing crew)

DESIRABLE SKILLS & ADDITIONAL TRAINING

We welcome applicants with any of the following experience or certifications:

• Post Driver / Piling machinery operation
• Working at Heights certification
• Manual Handling trained
• Skilled with hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layout plans
• Confident in troubleshooting and adapting to unforeseen site conditions
• Previous construction, civils, or renewables background

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a site-based role where you’ll be part of a team installing solar ground mount systems on large-scale commercial and agricultural projects across the UK. You’ll be responsible for supporting installations from start to finish — from groundwork and frame assembly to panel mounting.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and setting out the site for solar ground mount installations
• Assembling and installing ground mounting systems
• Installing solar panels safely and securely on ground-mounted frames
• Using power and hand tools efficiently and safely
• Ensuring work is carried out to high quality and safety standards
• Loading/unloading tools and materials
• Maintaining clean and orderly work sites
• Communicating with supervisors, site managers, and team members to meet project timelines
