Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Solar Panel Fitter, you’ll help install solar PV systems on a variety of commercial sites – including retail, industrial, agricultural and educational premises.
You’ll work closely with your Installation Manager and the project delivery team to ensure every installation is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
No previous solar experience is required – full training will be provided. However, experience working on commercial sites is a strong advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install solar PV panels and mounting systems to commercial buildings
  • Support the mechanical aspects of the installation
  • Read and interpret layout plans and technical drawings
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety on-site
  • Work as part of a team with the Installation Manager, delivery team and civils team
  • Represent Power Different with professionalism and care on every project
