The Opportunity Join our growing New Energy team in Brisbane and play a key role in delivering innovative solar and battery projects across a diverse range of contracts. We’re seeking a driven Electrical Engineer to support our Design Manager and Project Delivery team, contributing to high-quality engineering and design outcomes that set industry standards. What we are looking for * Electrical Engineering qualification * A proven track record of Electrical Design and Power Systems Design on Design and Construct Contracts, specifically structured design phases. * Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, ideally including design and construction roles * Strong Environmentally Sustainable Design and Innovation and Technology credentials including an understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards. * Experience in overseeing grid connection works * Experience working for a building contractor is preferred but not essential. * Experience working with AS3000, AS5033, AS4777, AS5139, AS61439 preferred * Experience working with DNSPs and appropriate wiring rules preferred * Experience working with EV charging infrastructure preferred * Experience working with Retail energy markets preferred * RPEQ desirable What we offer * Flexible working environment * Opportunity for career growth with structured frameworks and supportive-inclusive team * Competitive Salary and Employee Benefits * Valued and respected position, with supportive and experienced team * Work for a major ASX-listed company About Energy & Utilities…Downer's Energy & Utilities business unit is an integrated trans-Tasman team, providing services and solutions that connect communities to essential networks and infrastructure.
