Role Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Solar PV Electrician to lead our solar installation teams, manage projects, make informed on-site decisions, and train and mentor apprentices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians and apprentices on solar PV installation projects.
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of solar PV systems for domestic, agricultural, and commercial clients.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and electrical schematics
  • Ensure all work is carried out to regulatory standards and company quality expectations.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and make decisions on materials, layout, and installation methods.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports on installations and maintenance.
  • Take responsibility for training, mentoring, and supporting apprentices.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained on every site.
  • Demonstrate compassion and flexibility in accommodating customers’ schedules and needs.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, dignity, and respect in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and partners.

Working Hours:

  • Average 40 to 50 hours per week, depending on project timelines and site conditions.
