JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety-focused Roofer labourer to join our growing installation team. Working under the supervision of a qualified electrician, you will assist with the preparation and installation of solar panel mounting systems on residential and commercial rooftops, ensuring all work meets Australian safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights. You will work closely with our electricians and installation crews to deliver high-quality solar installations for our customers

.Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electrician with installing solar panel racking and mounting systems on various roof types (tiled, metal, etc.).
• Work safely at heights, following all WHS and industry safety protocols.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for installations.
• Assist with panel placement and secure fastening.
• Inspect and prepare rooftops to ensure they are suitable for solar installation.
• Assist electricians during panel wiring and system connection.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
• Follow project timelines and communicate progress to the installation manager.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable and competent working at heights. Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
• Current valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Must be authorized to work in Australia.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous roofing or solar installation experience
• White Card (Construction Induction Card) required.
• Working at Heights certification
