Position Overview We are seeking Solar Skin / Wire Harness / CNC Production Technicians to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on assembly, prep work, and bonding processes in solar panel and wire harness production. The position is detail-oriented and suitable for individuals who are organized and capable of following instructions closely. Prior technical experience is not required, as all processes are teachable. This position is assigned to Shift 2-Nights: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m. (4x10s). Depending on business needs, this role also has opportunities on: Shift 3- Weekends: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. (3x12s). Key Responsibilities: Perform layup of solar skins and prep work for assembly. Assist in wire harness assembly, routing, and bonding as directed. Operate ovens and other production equipment as required. Support CNC production operations with setup and material handling. Maintain organized workspace and ensure all assemblies meet quality standards. Follow standard work instructions and maintain accurate documentation. Contribute to a feeder line production process, ensuring proper distribution of materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed correctly and efficiently. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Experience in production, assembly, distribution, or warehouse environments preferred. Experience with feeder lines, inventory handling, or manufacturing operations is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Detail-oriented with the ability to follow step-by-step instructions. Familiarity with basic bonding, prep work, or oven operations is helpful but not required. Comfortable in a team environment of approximately 30 people. Soft Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures. Collaborative and reliable team player. Focused on quality and consistency over speed. Technology Stack: Ovens and curing equipment for solar skin bonding Basic CNC equipment support Assembly tools for wire harness and solar components Standard documentation and inventory systems Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a standard manufacturing environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle materials safely. Ability to stand for extended periods and operate basic production tools.
