Description
Greenvolt Next Portugal is one of the leading companies in the renewable energy sector, operating in both the national and international markets through the production of energy from photovoltaic solar systems. We are continuously expanding our team. We are looking for a Solar Solutions Engineer to work from our Venda do Pinheiro Office. Maintain an asset inventory in the CRM system for the purpose of managing maintenance and expansion of the photovoltaic plants; Handle technical-commercial customer complaints, ensuring proper routing, cost evaluation, and coordination of resolutions in collaboration with the O&M technical teams or directly through external service providers; Analyze the performance of photovoltaic plants and energy consumption of Next Invest PPA clients to support decision-making on commercial proposals (expansions, storage, chargers, and energy audits) for Next Invest PPA plants and new projects; Conduct photovoltaic plant expansion simulations using PVSOL software; Analyze the potential for converting gas consumption to electricity for clients; Gather technical information from customer installations to support the execution of engineering projects; Analyze and facilitate the approval process for new project executions; Identify and resolve construction constraints to ensure SLA compliance; Provide technical support to clients. Profile Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management and knowledge of electrical installations (preferable); Familiarity with photovoltaic technologies and electrical regulations; Proficiency in PVSOL software for simulating energy production and self-consumption from photovoltaic systems; Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication; Advanced proficiency in Excel and project management tools; Fluent in both Portuguese and English.
