Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Soldering Technician to join our growing smart controls company. You will be soldering and assembling production and prototype PCBs, both through hole and SMD.
Responsibilities:
· Carry out assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
· Hand soldering prototype and small volume production boards with various components, through hole and SMD down to 0603.
· Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety.
· Produce assemblies with care and attention to detail while ensuring the company’s high quality is always consistent.
· Carry out various other tasks as required.
Requirements:
· Must have formal training in Soldering.
· Minimum of 2 years hand soldering experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment.
· Good manual dexterity.
· Must be flexible and willing to carry out different tasks as required.
· Must be skilled at soldering SMD components by hand down to 0603.
· Demonstrate recent experience within a similar role.
· Excellent communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
