Soldering Technician Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00/hour Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join a growing electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong fine soldering skills who takes pride in precision work. You will play a key role in assembling high-quality electronic components that ensure product reliability and performance. What You’ll Do Perform hand soldering of electronic components, including through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) parts Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions Inspect solder joints using visual inspection and magnification tools Rework and repair assemblies as needed to meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures Operate equipment such as reflow ovens and wave soldering machines when required Work closely with quality and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues What We’re Looking For Previous soldering experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment preferred Experience with fine/pitch soldering and small, delicate components is a strong plus Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment High school diploma or equivalent required
