  • Experience in other areas of transactional law may be considered, but experience in banking and finance is preferred.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Solicitor with at least 1 to 2 years PQE in Banking and Finance to join the team. The role will involve:

  • Acting for clearing banks as well as other institutional lenders, various high profile corporate borrowers and clients from the public sector including, registered social landlords, the Welsh Government and clients from the Higher Education sector
  • Providing advice and representation on all types of banking and finance matters, including but not limited to funds finance, acquisition finance, and real estate finance
  • Working closely with colleagues from our corporate and commercial, commercial property and construction teams
  • Drafting simple loan agreements, management of CPs to drawdown, reviewing and approving CP documentation, preparing and issuing standard form security documents
  • Liaising closely with clients to manage transactions from credit sanction to drawdown
  • Assisting colleagues with post-completion requirements
  • Supporting team and wider firm with business development initiatives and events
