Are you a passionate and knowledgeable solicitor with expertise in education law and practice? We invite you to join our dynamic team and make a difference to clients in the education sector.
We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor to specialise in education law and practice. You will provide expert legal advice and representation to a diverse range of clients, including schools, governing bodies, and individuals on all matters relating to education and supporting the Authority’s Modern Education Programme.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Advise on education law, including admissions, exclusions, safeguarding, discrimination, ALN, regulatory compliance, and governance.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, tribunals, and court proceedings as required.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal documents such as policies, contracts, and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes and case law within the education sector.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear, practical advice tailored to client needs.
