The Opportunity Our Band 1 ranked Competition, Regulation and Trade team have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor to join our Melbourne or Sydney office. Under the leadership of Partners Linda Evans, Liza Carver, Patrick Gay, Sarah Benbow, Patrick Clark, Stephanie Panayi and Jared Peut, our competition practice works as both a close national and global team, which will provide career opportunities you simply cannot get elsewhere. To be successful in this role, you will have: 2+ years' experience in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia. In-depth experience in competition and/or consumer and regulatory law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work. An excellent academic record, and natural commitment to continuous learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously. A curiosity about our client's businesses, and an ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the ongoing growth of the practice.
