Our ambition The Opportunity We have a new opportunity for a Solicitor to join our band 1 ranked Competition, Regulation and Trade practice in Melbourne. Under the leadership of Partners Sarah Benbow and Jared Peut, you will work with leading domestic and international organisations across the full spectrum of competition, consumer law and regulatory work, including cartel and behavioural investigations, litigation, merger clearances, and regulatory advice. As an integrated national team, you will also work closely with Sydney Partners Linda Evans, Liza Carver, Patrick Gay, Patrick Clark and Stephanie Panayi, providing unparalleled learning and career development opportunities. To be successful in this role, you will have: 3-5 years' experience in a leading private practice firm or relevant regulator experience in Australia. In-depth experience in competition and/or consumer and regulatory law, ideally in both advisory and contentious work. An excellent academic record, and natural commitment to continuous learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously. A curiosity about our client's businesses, and an ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support the ongoing growth of the practice.
