Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join our leading corporate and commercial team based in Auckland.
This part of our team is led by partners David Thomson and Lisette Hood who specialise in corporate and commercial law, working with a number of high-profile private and public sector clients that shape New Zealand’s commercial landscape. As a valued member of the team, you will work on a range of corporate and commercial matters that include corporate advisory and structuring work, commercial contracting, procurement, corporate governance, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
You will be part of a team that works across major industry sectors, and with various national and multi-national businesses in both the private and public sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for you if you are interested in developing your career within corporate and commercial law while gaining exceptional legal experience across a varied diet of work. Through mentorship directly from David and Lisette and the other senior members of the team, attending various in-house training and courses, and by utilising our career progression framework, you will be fully supported to learn, grow, and perform at your best.
