Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

A well-established legal firm in Doncaster is seeking a passionate, experienced, and client-focused Family Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Family Executive to join. This role will focus on delivering high-quality advice and representation in Private Children and Domestic Abuse cases, with a desirable knowledge of Legal Aid processes. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and undertaking advocacy on behalf of clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle a full caseload of Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse matters.
  • Conduct your own advocacy at court when required.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships, offering empathetic yet professional guidance throughout proceedings.
  • Provide advice on and process Legal Aid applications (if applicable).
  • Draft legal documents, statements, and correspondence independently.
  • Attend client meetings and court hearings, ensuring a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Stay updated on changes in family law and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth case progression and a positive working environment.
  • Ensure adherence to SRA regulations and internal compliance protocols.
