Job Description Exciting opportunity to join a growing in-house legal team working for the biggest non-bank lender in the UK. The role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor with a passion for real estate finance and a desire to work on high-value transactions in a commercial setting. The role will focus on advising on, structuring and managing a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including; acquisition and refinancing deals. The ideal candidate will combine technical legal expertise with strong commercial acumen, acting as a trusted advisor to the business. Typical duties include: Transaction Support Advise on and manage the legal aspects of transactions, including drafting and negotiating Deeds of Priority, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary documents. Advise on Bridging Finance and refinancing transactions Conduct legal due diligence on property acquisitions and disposals, including review of title, planning and searches. Risk Management & Compliance Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks Assist with compliance and regulatory issues related to property finance. Ensure transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal governance procedures. Stakeholder Management Work closely with internal departments to deliver commercially driven legal solutions. Liaise with external parties to drive transactions forward efficiently. Process Improvement Deliver training to internal teams on key legal and regulatory issues. Maintain legal documentation and contribute to internal process improvements Qualifications Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with PQE in real estate finance. Solid background gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team. Strong technical knowledge of loan documentation, and real estate due diligence. Commercial mindset with ability to balance legal risk and business priorities. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
