THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Solicitor to join our leading Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team to be based in Sydney.
In this role, you will work closely with industry-leading Energy and Construction partners Toby Anderson, Daniel Ficyk and Laurelle Ko, alongside other partners and lawyers within one of Australia’s leading energy and infrastructure legal teams.
You will have the opportunity to work on ‘first in market’ projects and with clients, in Australia and internationally, who are at the forefront of the energy transition.

You will undertake a range of work that supports the delivery of major renewable, energy and infrastructure projects. This will provide the opportunity to work across:

  • project delivery consisting of development and construction related agreements including EPC, ECI, FEED and EPCM arrangements; and
  • renewable energy technologies including wind (including offshore), solar, run-of-river and pumped hydro, geothermal, battery storage and hybrid projects.
Responsibilities
  • demonstrable experience with energy, infrastructure, and construction projects with a focus on contract review, interpretation and negotiation;
  • an excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset;
  • a proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team;
  • an ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously;
  • excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team;
  • have a hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.
