Howdens is looking for a Solid Surface Fitter Assistant to join our nationwide Installation Teams. Our Solid Surface Fitters Assistant works on-site, supporting our solid surface fitter, installing our solid surface worktops. You will be responsible for covering the Derbyshire Region. Therefore, living within relative proximity to Glossop would be ideal.

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS SOLID SURFACES FITTER ASSISTANT ROLE?

• Use of carpentry tools.
• You must hold a full UK driving license.
• Strong organisational skills; planning and organising
• Must have an exceptional eye for detail
• Communicates positively with colleagues and customers and can build effective relationships with both.
• Shows initiative and an innovative approach to problem-solving.
• A good geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Experience working in a kitchen fitting role; having experience with solid surface fitting, preferably quartz, wood worktops or other materials – desirable but not essential.
