The Westchester County Solid Waste Commission, which is a licensing and regulatory agency, has an immediate opening for a Solid Waste Inspector to perform inspections, investigations, research and functions related to the Westchester County Solid Waste and Recyclables Collection Licensing Law.
Incumbent will work both in the office with the Solid Waste Commission team and out in the field to conduct on-site inspections and investigations at solid waste transfer stations as well as other locations throughout the county. Incumbent will prepare investigative reports and may provide witness testimony during administrative hearings; and other related work as needed.
