REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years managing multiple, complex projects or portfolios.
  • 2+ years’ experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prior experience working in the Defence Industry.
    This position requires verification of Australian Citizenship due to citizenship based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports federal, state and /or local Australian government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport.

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 15+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., Security)
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years technical sales experience.
  • 8+ years project management experience.
  • 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
  • Technical or Professional Certification in Domain (e.g., Security).

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the customer/partner technical environment and gather insights to shape projects.
  • Design and deploy architecture using existing methodologies and reference architecture.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to drive project/technical governance.
  • Lead collaboration with the Account Team to understand the business solution/problem and build a realistically costed solution approach.
  • Anticipate and identify scenarios that could slow or impede pre-sales/delivery and develop a strategy to circumvent them.
  • Develop new and/or improvements to existing intellectual property.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to external stakeholders and develop a deep network of internal/external relationships.
  • Provide thought leadership by sharing deep insight and driving critical decisions.
